Impact Achievement Learning Center Employee Ethics Policy
Purpose
Impact Achievement Learning Center is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all students, families, staff, and community partners. This Employee Ethics Policy establishes clear standards of professional conduct to ensure that our organization maintains integrity, accountability, and trust in all interactions.
1. Professional Conduct
Employees are expected to act with honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all duties and responsibilities.
Respectful and courteous communication must be maintained with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.
Employees must serve as positive role models, demonstrating ethical decision-making and appropriate behavior.
2. Confidentiality
All student records, personal information, and organizational data must remain confidential.
Employees are prohibited from sharing sensitive information outside of authorized personnel or without proper consent.
Social media use must never disclose student or staff information without written authorization.
3. Conflict of Interest
Employees must avoid situations where personal interests could conflict with the best interests of the students or the organization.
Any potential conflicts must be reported to administration immediately.
Employees may not use their position for personal gain, including soliciting business or favors from students or families.
4. Equal Opportunity & Non-Discrimination
Employees must treat all students and families with fairness and respect regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or socioeconomic status.
Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
5. Student Safety & Well-Being
The health, safety, and well-being of students is the highest priority.
Employees are required to follow all safety protocols, supervision responsibilities, and mandatory reporting requirements for suspected abuse or neglect.
Physical punishment, verbal abuse, or any form of inappropriate behavior toward students is strictly prohibited.
6. Integrity in Work
Employees must perform their duties with accuracy, reliability, and accountability.
Attendance, punctuality, and preparedness are essential for ensuring consistent student support.
Employees are expected to use school resources responsibly and for work-related purposes only.
7. Parent & Community Engagement
Employees are expected to build positive relationships with parents and guardians to support student success.
Communication with families must be professional, respectful, and focused on the student’s growth and well-being.
8. Reporting & Accountability
Employees are required to report unethical, illegal, or unsafe behavior immediately to administration.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
